The Palstar Story
The first Palstar tuners shipped in December 1996. A few years later Palstar's most advanced tuner was the AT4K circa 1999. There have been a lot of changes since then and Palstar's new state-of-the-art tuner is the HF-AUTO automatic antenna tuner.
Palstar CEO, Paul Hrivnak, started his career as an engineer in the automotive industry. He then moved to cable broadcasting and led a design team that produced one of the very first infra-red remote controls for use in cable television, which they sold to Philips. His first Amateur Radio start-up was Vectronics back in the 1980s. In the 1990s he started Palstar Incorporated.
A lifetime of excellence in engineering is inside every Palstar product.
